November 6th, 2009 8:43 pm sigh [ ] bamfdoll I have no self control. In the near future, I'll be bringing Avalanche into MU (well, assuming my app passes). I'm going to be making him 24/5, so right around the range of the whole Pyro/Iceman/Rogue/Kitty et al. group. So I thought I'd go ahead and send out feelers to see if people would be interested in friendships! I not so subtly am a fan of canon Avalanche/Pyro friendship, so hopefully people are willing to put up with him in game canon :D. He's quiet, a skilled bartender, loyal, easy-going, sympathetic to the Brotherhood, simple, easy to lead, enjoys destruction. I think this updates itself, so I shouldn't have to repost. So I ditched the monthly graph because I tend to do most of my writing between 10 and 3 and that was messing up my daily counts. November 6th, 2009 10:56 am [ ] hprpgprincess [ mood | amused ] I fell behind last night, and I am saddened by that fact...I was doing birthday things with the fiance (who treated me to dinner at Friday's...my birthday tradition...along with a frozen Cosmopolitan and happy funtimes Red Sox music!). BUT I have a funny story to tell this morning. I had this amazing dream, you see, in which teh boy found out that he was actually supposed to be the king of some country. He was crowned king and everyone was crying and I was like "WOOHOO I AM QUEEN NOW AWESOME!!" and we were checking out the castle after everyone left because, hey, it's a castle, and it had more cable TV channels than we'd ever EVER seen, including one that was just Marlon Wayans doing stupid stuff 24/7. Anyway, all of a sudden, the major domo shows up and tells teh boy, "You'd best get that bitch (meaning me) in pup. You need an heir, and if she can't give you one, you need to get rid of her." So that was unhappy. And then I woke up, and my period had started, which leads me to only one conclusion: My ovaries are teh boy's major domo. Seriously! It was like one of those sitcom sequences where the woman's getting older and her ovaries start playing characters in her dreams or manifesting as dancing babies...I thought that was just a sitcom thing, but it's NOT. It happened to me! And I think it's hilarious. ...not hilarious enough for me to stop using the patch and condoms and throw all my plans for the next two years to the wind, but still hilarious. November 6th, 2009 1:12 pm Random [ ] kikibug13 [ mood | weird ] [ music | CSI: Kansas ] Non-spoilery, but there might be spoilers about the latest episode of Supernatural in the comments. I, apparently, find some things and situations way less funny than most people. (And find some way more, as anyone who's watched a movie or a play with me has remarked, after the fourth of fifth time my laughter rings out in the quiet auditorium.) However, watching somebody pick on a particularly bad performance that I have watched about 30 seconds of altogether (... maybe a minute? Tops?) and doing it well enough that I can recognize it? He's this total little geek and he's really into music and theatre and stuff, he's such a Justin in the making, even to where he used to be all crazy-hyper and stuff and now he does theatre. For the talent show, he performed a medley of Michael Jackson songs, complete with the dance moves and everything. And not that you guys probably care, but in case anyone does, here's the video...
